Job Title: Pipe Fitter (AC / HVAC Systems)Job Purpose:
Responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems associated with air conditioning (AC), refrigeration, and HVAC systems, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret HVAC and piping drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Install, assemble, and connect pipes, ducts, and fittings for AC and refrigeration systems.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required specifications using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Perform brazing, soldering, and welding on pipes and joints to ensure leak-free connections.
- Install valves, hangers, supports, and related piping accessories.
- Conduct pressure tests, leak detection, and system checks to verify proper installation.
- Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of chillers, split units, package units, and other HVAC equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians, engineers, and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in proper condition.
