Job Description:
We are urgently seeking a qualified Piping Supervisor to oversee piping activities on-site for an industrial project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supervising fabrication, erection, testing, and commissioning of piping systems, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, safety, and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise piping installation, fabrication, hydrotesting, flushing, and other field activities.
- Review and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, GA drawings, and material specs.
- Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and manpower.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, safety, and other discipline supervisors for smooth execution.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes (ASME, API), and HSE standards.
- Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safety protocols at site.
- Report daily progress and issues to the Construction Manager.
- Participate in inspection, testing, punch list clearance, and handover.
Requirements:
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in piping supervision (preferably oil & gas / industrial projects).
- Knowledge of piping standards (ASME B31.3, API), materials, welding, and testing methods.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Must be available immediately or on short notice.
