General Summary:
The Plumber is responsible for installing pipes, valves, and fittings to ensure everything operates smoothly. The role involves analyze plumbing emergencies when necessary, fixing them to meet specifications and safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities):
Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures (such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters) in commercial and residential structures.
Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other professionals during construction.
Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems, identifying and diagnosing plumbing problems using appropriate tools and techniques.
Completes light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling, and electrical work as required.
Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.
Adhere to all plumbing building codes and regulations.
Ensure all work meets safety standards and follows best practices.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Train and mentor junior and apprentices.
Document completed work and maintain accurate records.

Strong understanding of plumbing systems, including water supply and drainage.
Knowledge of local building plumbing codes and regulations.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing challenges accordingly.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Familiarity with the intricacies of working with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper.
Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in basic mathematics and measurement conversion
Minimum Education Qualifications (Must Haves)
Preferred professional training (Nice to have)
ITI/Vocational training or certification in plumbing.
Certification from recognized body.
Professional Experience (Must Haves)
At least 4-5 years of plumbing experience in an industrial or manufacturing Industry.
Proven track record of producing high-quality welds.
