We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our fit-out team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and retail interior fit-out projects. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan plumbing installations.
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, water supply networks, and drainage systems in accordance with project specifications and plumbing codes.
- Perform pressure tests and inspections to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with site engineers, project managers, and other trades to ensure coordinated execution of plumbing works.
- Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings using hand and power tools.
- Diagnose plumbing problems and provide effective solutions during the fit-out process.
- Ensure timely completion of plumbing tasks within project timelines.
- Maintain proper documentation of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and site rules.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a plumber in fit-out or construction projects.
- Certification or license in plumbing (as required by local laws/regulations).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and codes.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-end residential, commercial, or retail fit-outs.
- Familiarity with HVAC and fire suppression systems is a plus.
