Job Purpose:
To supervise and coordinate the daily operations, maintenance, and servicing of construction equipment and machinery at the project site. The PMV Supervisor ensures equipment availability, reliability, and efficiency through timely maintenance, coordination with external rental agencies, and accurate ERP documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with project teams to understand and fulfill equipment requirements.
- Arrange and follow up on the repair and maintenance of rented equipment by coordinating with external rental companies.
- Supervise regular servicing, preventive maintenance, and repairs of company-owned equipment and machinery at the site.
- Ensure timely servicing of all plant and machinery, maintaining records of service intervals.
- Generate and process GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes) in the ERP system for rental equipment.
- Monitor and maintain service schedules, downtime logs, and repair history for all site machinery.
- Ensure compliance with company standards for equipment safety, performance, and operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate inventory of equipment, tools, and spare parts.
- Report equipment issues and maintenance requirements to the PMV Manager.
- Coordinate with procurement/logistics for spare parts or additional equipment support when required.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role in PMV.
- Strong knowledge of construction machinery operation and maintenance (e.g., excavators, wheel loaders, cranes, generators, etc.).
- Familiarity with rental equipment management and coordination with third-party vendors.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably construction-focused ERP) for maintenance and GRN entries.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, and basic office software for reporting and communication.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
