Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and passionate Pottery Teacher to join our team and share the joy of ceramics with students of all ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate is someone who loves working with their hands, enjoys teaching, and is enthusiastic about helping others explore their artistic potential through clay.
As a Pottery Teacher, you will lead hands-on classes in various pottery techniques, from wheel throwing and hand-building to glazing and kiln firing, in a relaxed and inspiring studio environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach pottery classes to beginners and intermediate students in a fun and encouraging way.
- Demonstrate techniques such as wheel throwing, hand-building, trimming, glazing, and decorating.
- Provide individual guidance and constructive feedback to students.
- Manage class setup and cleanup, including preparing materials and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Ensure safety protocols and proper studio practices are followed.
- Foster a supportive and creative atmosphere for learning and exploration.
- Organize or assist with pottery workshops, exhibitions, or events.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in pottery/ceramic arts.
- Prior teaching or workshop facilitation experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with students of different ages and skill levels.
- Passion for creativity, craftsmanship, and education.
Preferred:
- Degree or certification in fine arts, ceramics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of kiln operations and ceramic studio safety.

- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
