Printing Machine Operator - (Large Format)

We are an 18 year old leading full-service Graphics and Display Solution company manufacturing Display Stands, Kiosks, Signages; Exhibition stands etc. Located in Dubai Production City.

We are currently seeking “Printing Machine Operator – Large Format”

Job Responsibilities

• Operate large format printing machines to produce high-quality prints for signage and advertising.
• Advanced knowledge of making colour profiles with Xrite
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of RIP software such as Onyx, Maintop, and Photoprint for accurate print processing.
• Set up and adjust printing machines according to job specifications to ensure precise color and print quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot printing equipment to maintain efficient operation.
• Manage print jobs from start to finish, including material loading, monitoring runs, and finishing tasks.
• Inspect printed materials for defects and make adjustments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with design and production teams to meet client specifications and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace while strictly following all safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot minor technical issues such as misfeeds, print errors, and mechanical problems.
• Promptly report major technical problems to maintenance or external service providers.
• Monitor and track material usage and waste to improve resource efficiency.
• Record detailed information on completed print jobs, machine maintenance, and adjustments made.
• Maintain detailed production logs, tracking time, material usage, and waste per job.
• Report key production metrics to supervisors and recommend process improvements.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols when operating printing equipment and handling materials.
• Ensure the workspace complies with health and safety standards, including PPE use, ventilation, and fire safety.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating large format printing machines, preferably in the signage or advertising industry.
• Familiarity with various printing materials such as vinyl, fabric, and PVC.
• Possess knowledge of color calibration, color profiles, and print settings.
• Work efficiently under tight deadlines while managing multiple print jobs simultaneously.
• Maintain strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality output.
• Advance working knowledge of design software's (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience operating and handling wide format digital printing machines.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital printing software, machine operation, and color calibration techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct print quality issues.
• Capability to troubleshoot minor issues and think proactively to prevent downtime.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
