The Process Engineering Manager (Skids) is responsible for overseeing the design, fabrication, testing, and delivery of modular process systems (skids). This includes managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with clients, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end execution of process skid projects from design to delivery.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, QA/QC, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure all skids comply with applicable industry standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.) and client specifications.
- Collaborate with process, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors involved in fabrication and component supply.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Review and approve P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, and equipment specs.
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure proper documentation, including FAT/SAT procedures, testing reports, and O&M manuals.
- Interface with clients during design reviews, inspections, and handover processes.
- Promote a strong safety culture across all project phases.
