About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Procurement Manager with a strong background in block and concrete manufacturing to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of procurement expertise in construction or heavy manufacturing, with a deep understanding of GCC supply chains, supplier networks, and cost-optimization strategies.
This role requires a proven leader with high ethical standards, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to manage end-to-end procurement operations while ensuring transparency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to support production and project timelines.
- Source and manage suppliers for raw materials (cement, aggregates, additives), equipment, and logistics.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to maximize cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Build and maintain a strong supplier network (local and international) for concrete/block manufacturing.
- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain risks; implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and UAE regulations.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement with operational needs.
- Lead a procurement team, driving performance, accountability, and process improvements.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in procurement, with at least 5 years in block/concrete manufacturing or heavy construction.
- GCC experience is mandatory (UAE/Dubai market knowledge preferred).
- Established relationships with suppliers of raw materials, machinery, and construction services.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business (MBA is a plus).
