Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee and coordinate offshore survey projects from planning to execution. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining quality standards, and liaising with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in the offshore/marine industry, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan, execute, and oversee offshore geophysical, geotechnical, and hydrographic survey projects in coordination with internal teams and subcontractors.
· Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
· Coordinating with technical leads to ensure equipment readiness, mobilization, and demobilization for offshore operations.
· Liaise with clients, vessel operators, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with contractual and industry standards.
· Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and proactively resolve any delays or technical challenges.
· Ensure HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) protocols are strictly followed throughout project execution.
· Support tender preparation, resource planning, and technical documentation.
· Support procurement and logistics for project operations in collaboration with the supply chain team.
· Manage project risks, prepare mitigation strategies, and implement corrective actions when required.
· Facilitate post-project reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
· Travel to international project sites (including offshore locations) as required for project execution and supervision.
Key Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marine Sciences, Geoscience, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
· Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the offshore, marine, or energy sector.
· Strong understanding of offshore survey operations (geophysical and geotechnical).
· Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and complex project logistics.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and client-facing skills.
· Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Familiarity with HSE standards and international marine regulations.
· PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
· Willingness and ability to travel internationally and work offshore as required.
