Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead and deliver engineering projects from planning to execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, leadership capabilities, and a valid driver’s license to support on-site project supervision and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee engineering projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Coordinate internal teams and external contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess project progress and compliance.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure all work is executed in compliance with engineering standards, health & safety regulations, and contractual requirements.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Manage project documentation, contracts, and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the engineering or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of engineering methods, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Valid UAE driver’s license – required for site travel.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with HSE and quality assurance procedures.
- Experience in managing infrastructure, industrial, or construction projects.
