Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead various construction and renovation projects at our prestigious resort in the Maldives. This is an exciting opportunity to manage high-end hospitality development projects in one of the world’s most stunning island destinations.
You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery—working closely with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of construction and renovation projects at the resort
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, interior designers, contractors, and suppliers
- Prepare project budgets and timelines; monitor performance and progress
- Ensure that all work complies with safety standards, legal requirements, and quality benchmarks
- Manage onsite teams and provide leadership throughout the project
- Report project status to senior management and stakeholders on a regular basis
- Resolve project-related issues proactively and effectively
- Manage procurement processes for project materials and services
- Ensure sustainability and environmentally friendly practices in construction processes
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in hospitality or construction projects
- Proven track record of delivering high-value resort or hotel projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and contractors effectively
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Willingness to relocate and work in the Maldives full-time
- Knowledge of local regulations and construction practices in the Maldives is an advantage
