Job Opportunity: Project Manager - Meat Processing Plant, UAE
Job Description
Primary Purpose: Own the end-to-end launch of Ndizi Nation from Company setup through outsourced manufacturing to KEZAD pilot, grant applications, and early-stage scale. Coordinate all functional leads and external consultants to hit each milestone on time and on budget. Eventually transition into CEO once pilot is validated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee DMCC incorporation, Dubai SME registration, and KEZAD branch licensing.
- Lead grant applications (Dubai SME vouchers, ADIO agritech, EDB loans), ensuring supporting documentation and reporting.
- Hire and manage Ops, Supply Chain, Marketing teams and external consultants (R&D, QA).
- Develop and track Gantt-style project plan with clear milestones (e.g., “DMCC license issued,” “first 100 kg pilot run complete,” “ADIO pre-approval obtained”), report progress weekly.
- Coordinate budgeting, cash-flow forecasts, and grant disbursement schedules with Finance.
- Build the initial organizational structure and draft standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each function.
- Act as primary liaison with stakeholders ( advisors, strategic partners, free-zone authorities, highlevel investors).
- Prepare monthly board-level decks: status vs. milestones, key KPI dashboards (pilot yields, grant drawdowns, initial sales).
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years in food or CPG startup project leadership (preferably F&B manufacturing).
- Demonstrated success launching a new product or green-field project on time (e.g., from concept to pilot production).
- Strong understanding of UAE free-zone regulations (DMCC, KEZAD) and grant programs (Dubai SME, ADIO, EDB).
- Excellent cross-functional coordination skills—comfortable working with R&D, operations, finance, and sales teams.
- Proven ability to build a team from scratch and drive accountability.
- Exceptional written + verbal communication; fluent in English (Arabic a plus).
