Architectural Metal Work Project Manager plays a key role in overseeing the fabrication and installation of custom metal elements in construction projects—such as staircases, railings, cladding, canopies, and facades.
Work involves engineering, fabrication, and site coordination.
Technical & Industry Experience
- 5+ years of experience in architectural metal work and steel fabrication
- Experience managing projects involving:
- Structural and architectural steel
- Aluminum, brass, stainless steel, bronze, etc.
- Glazed metal systems or decorative metalwork
- Knowledge of shop fabrication processes and on-site installation sequencing.
Project Management Skills
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and procurement.
- Reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings
- Writing RFIs and managing submittals
- Creating and managing fabrication schedules and installation timelines
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, general contractors, and internal teams.
- Oversee fabrication and ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards..
- Perform site visits and attend coordination meetings
