Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Projects Manager to oversee and manage multiple construction projects under our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) while also providing strategic and operational guidance to our newly established contracting division. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership, planning, and execution capabilities, with a comprehensive understanding of both consultancy and contracting environments.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Project Management Consultancy Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for various residential, or commercial developments.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project success.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
- Review and approve project deliverables including design documents, progress reports, and quality audits.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve on-ground challenges.
- Ensure all PMC projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and delays.
B. Contracting Company Oversight Responsibilities:
- Support and guide the operational setup and team structure of the new contracting company.
- Establish systems, SOPs, and internal processes for smooth execution and compliance.
- Provide guidance on project estimation, tendering, procurement, and contract management.
- Monitor site execution, resource planning, and manpower allocation for contracting projects.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Mentor and lead the project execution team to achieve project and company goals.
C. Strategic and Leadership Role:
- Act as a key liaison between the PMC and the contracting division.
- Provide regular progress and performance reports to the management.
- Support business development initiatives, client meetings, and pre-contract negotiations.
- Drive a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in project management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in both consultancy and contracting environments.
- Strong knowledge of local construction regulations, DDA/DM/DCD procedures
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
