We are seeking a proactive and experienced Purchase Manager to manage procurement and inventory operations for our auto spare parts shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible not only for sourcing quality automotive parts at competitive rates but also for maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring stock accuracy, and coordinating closely with sales and service departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure auto spare parts from local and international suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and payment conditions with vendors.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet sales and service requirements.
- Oversee stock control, regular audits, and inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain and update inventory records using inventory management software.
- Forecast demand and plan purchases based on historical data and market trends.
- Prevent stock shortages and overstocking by optimizing reorder levels.
- Coordinate with the store team for timely stocking and proper categorization of parts.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly and maintain strong relationships.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and invoices.
- Stay updated on new products, part numbers, and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or Inventory Controller in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive spare parts and inventory management practices.
- Proficiency in inventory software and MS Excel.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
