Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Purchaser to handle the sourcing and procurement of marine equipment, spare parts, and services for ship repairs. The role involves coordinating with technical teams, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage out sources and supplier as per company supply chain management procedure.
Source and purchase marine spare parts and services.
Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
Process purchase orders and track deliveries.
Work closely with engineers, superintendents, and vendors.
Maintain procurement records and inventory levels.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Marine Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of procurement experience in marine or shipyard industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Familiar with marine parts, vendors, and logistics.
