Key Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Register new patients and update existing records in the system.
- Manage patient flow and ensure proper coordination with doctors and nurses.
Insurance Coordination:
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to appointments.
- Obtain insurance approvals and submit pre-authorization requests for procedures.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for claim submissions, resubmissions, and follow-ups.
- Explain insurance benefits, coverage, and co-payments to patients.
- Maintain accurate records of approvals, denials, and claim statuses.
- Ensure timely processing of claims to avoid delays in reimbursement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a receptionist and/or insurance coordinator in a medical facility.
- Knowledge of UAE insurance processes, portals and claim submission systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office and healthcare software (e.g., HMS).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
- Pleasant personality, well-groomed, and professional demeanor.
