Role Description
We are looking for a young, energetic, and knowledgeable General Manager to lead our vibrant team at Birdies starting September 2025. This is a full-time, on-site role in Sobha Hartland, Dubai, including weekends and holidays. The right candidate will bring fresh energy, strong people skills, and a passion for hospitality. You’ll be hands-on, approachable, and ready to create a positive atmosphere for both staff and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant and café operations to deliver a smooth and welcoming guest experience.
- Lead, train, and inspire the team with enthusiasm and positive energy.
- Support business growth by driving guest satisfaction, repeat visits, and community engagement.
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships while controlling costs.
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and service standards are consistently maintained.
- Be present on the floor, connecting with guests and leading by example.
- Contribute ideas to improve operations, marketing, and menu development.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English (Russian, Arabic, or other languages are a plus).
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a café/restaurant.
- Energetic personality with a "good vibes" leadership style.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Guest-focused mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
