Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate the Restaurant in accordance with safety, hygiene, sanitation, food, and service quality standards.
- Conduct thorough opening and closing checks of the Restaurant during shifts to ensure the readiness for guest service and to adhere to the Restaurant operational standards and the security of the café.
- Participate actively during daily operations and coordinate the food and beverage service to ensure total guest satisfaction.
- Together with (Assistant) Manager assume complete responsibility for the training and effectiveness of your FOH colleagues in all areas of food, beverage and service knowledge.
- Oversee and manage controllable operating costs.
- Schedule and conduct periodic informational and training meetings for your FOH and bar colleagues.
- Assume responsibility for the cleanliness of the café and maintenance of equipment, fixtures, and fittings. Develop weekly and monthly cleaning schedules and maintenance charts to monitor the work performance.
- Complete additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by the Assistant Manager / Restaurant Manager. Stand in for the Assistant Restaurant Manager and learn the skills and attributes of the Assistant Restaurant Manager role for your own advancement.
- Prepare and conduct daily briefings in absence of Assistant Manager
Technical Knowledge:
- Should have a proven track record of exemplary performance with a successful record in meeting bar sales and productivity targets.
- Should have thorough experience behind the bar operations.
- Complete knowledge of MICROS POS.
- Ability to understand and analyze basic financial information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
