Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the shipping, logistics, or service sectors.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to ensure continued business growth.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements, ensuring favorable outcomes for both the company and clients.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall company revenue growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure the successful delivery of services.
- Provide excellent after-sales service, including follow-ups and resolution of any client concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions using CRM software.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales within the shipping, logistics freight forwarding field.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and build strong customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driving license is a bonus.
