Primary Role:
To lead business development and sales activities for third-party inspection services, including identifying opportunities, engaging clients, securing contracts, and ensuring revenue growth in compliance with industry standards (ISO 17020, API, ASME, etc.).
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
· Identify new market opportunities in oil & gas, construction, marine, power, and manufacturing sectors.
· Build strategic relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, and end clients.
· Develop and implement sales strategies for inspection services (lifting equipment, pressure vessels, NDT, etc.).
· Register the company as an approved vendor with key clients and government entities.
· Monitor industry trends, tender announcements, and competitor activities.
2. Client Management & Sales:
· Meet potential clients, understand technical requirements, and propose tailored inspection solutions.
· Prepare and submit technical-commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders.
· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to ensure profitability.
· Follow up on leads, respond to RFQs, and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
· Meet monthly Sales target aligned with the budget
· Maintain good relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
3. Coordination & Delivery Support:
· Coordinate with operations and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
· Communicate client expectations and job details clearly to inspection engineers.
· Resolve customer issues or complaints related to scope, timelines, or quality.
4. Reporting & Performance Tracking:
· Maintain CRM records of client interactions, sales activities, and status of opportunities.
· Provide weekly and monthly sales performance reports to management.
· Track conversion rates, revenue targets, and client feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical & Sector Knowledge:
· Understanding of third-party inspection services, ISO/IEC 17020 standards, and relevant codes (ASME, AWS, API, ISO).
· Knowledge of inspection techniques: NDT, lifting equipment inspection, welding inspection, etc.
Sales & Business Acumen:
· Strong ability to close deals and convert leads into revenue.
· Experience with pricing strategies and commercial negotiation.
· Familiarity with vendor registration portals and tendering procedures.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
· Excellent presentation, proposal writing, and negotiation skills.
· Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients.
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
· Ability to prepare sales reports and dashboards.
Other Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
· 4–8 years of experience in TPI or inspection-related business development/sales.
· preferred with his own visa
· UAE/GCC experience and a valid driving license.
