Nibras International School is looking for Bus Driver to join the school as soon as possible.

Key duties include:
- Operate a school bus by assessing traffic and road conditions
- Monitor students’ behavior and other factors necessary to safely deliver student passengers to and from school by adhering to state laws and school district policies. Drivers will be evaluated on driving and student management skills annually.
- Responsible to make stops at authorized locations and transport only authorized passengers. Update routes and maps and adjust timetables as necessary.
- Performs bus safety pre-trip inspections as required by law to assure proper vehicle working condition. Maintains all safety equipment. Drivers will be evaluated on pre-trip inspections annually.
- Communicates to mechanics all defects and maintenance needs. Performs post-trip inspection to check for vandalism, lost articles or sleeping students.
- Organizes and performs bus evacuations and selects and trains bus safety assistants. Responsible to assure the safety of all students entering and exiting the bus by stopping all traffic in accordance with RTA regulations.
- Maintains a safe and sanitary bus environment for students by sweeping and dusting the interior daily.
- Attends any required training for CPR/First Aid, driver’s license testing
- Performs daily record keeping activities such as pre-trip inspection forms, route surveys and route
- Performs tasks as apparent or assigned
Health and Safety
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
- Ensure that, all the necessary health and safety rules and procedures are being followed
- Maintain an awareness of all the health and safety measures to be taken when in school
Position Requirements:
Education: Valid UAE Driving License
Experience: 1 years’ experience working in a similar role

- Willing to work outside the contractual hours – during admission time or field trips, leading up to KHDA/DSIB, Parent Teacher’s Conference or as deemed necessary by the School Management
