Job Overview:
Here's your chance to step into the role of Senior Executive - Onboarding at Dubai Holding Group Services. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:
- Timely share pre-boarding checklist with candidates and ensure collection of relevant documentation
- Support in coordination with relevant teams for security clearance and reference checks on the incoming candidates
- Support the Team Lead in the management of employment contracts, coordination with different teams for relocation services, arrange logistics for physical welcome and administer induction/orientation
- Support in performing reference checks and administering personality assessment for incoming candidates if applicable
- Coordinate with relevant teams to arrange for relocation services
- Act as first level contact with Government Services team to ensure government requirements for new joiners are met (like coordinate visa / temp work permit, coordinate registration of Pensions for UAE and GCC nationals, coordinate Occupational Health Card (OHC) for organisations where applicable), while ensuring adherence to internal and regulatory policies and procedures
- Collect documentation from candidates' basis the onboarding checklist; update and maintain accurate onboarding records including candidate information, assets allocation etc.
- Undertake the execution of Day 1 onboarding activities, including scheduling group level orientation sessions, preparation of welcome pack and coordination with HRBPs on vertical/SBU level induction sessions, and updating user data and ensuring access on DH systems for new joiners
- Prepare data reports and analysis of the onboarding satisfaction surveys and maintain dashboards to evaluate the effectiveness of the onboarding program
- Meet set SLA for delivering all onboarding activities.
- Proactively support new hires with all the necessary information they need to get started, including the company's policies, procedures, and expectations
- Leverage identified communication channels and platforms to create a positive onboarding experience that sets new hires up for success
- Assist Team Lead in managing relationships with the key stakeholders in the verticals and driving customer satisfaction for the services provided among stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date onboarding records, including candidate information, asset allocations, etc
- Adopt a Continuous Improvement mindset and support in the implementation of action plans for process improvements.
- Meet individual objectives and priorities in line with the DH GS human capital and overall GS objectives, within the set milestones
- Complete assigned upskilling and continuous development initiatives (including LEAN Six Sigma projects) set by sub-function manager and implement those learning in existing ways of working
- Practice a customer centric and service mindset culture, drive innovation in the existing role and have a high-performance mindset to generate high value for the DH GS human capital function
- Proactively seek feedback and identify opportunities for professional development and growth
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in onboarding, or recruitment or related roles, preferably in a shared services organisation Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience working in the Middle East region is preferred
