Salary: AED 6,500 – 8,000 (Based on experience & performance in technical test)

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our team in Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong backend development background, particularly in PHP Yii / Yii2 frameworks, to work on a robust, existing codebase and contribute to meaningful, scalable applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using PHP (Yii / Yii2).
- Write clean, scalable, and secure code following best practices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture planning, and technical discussions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in backend development.
- Expertise in PHP Yii / Yii2 frameworks (or strong grasp of similar PHP MVC frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter).
- Deep understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and MySQL databases.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Ability to write efficient, reusable, and testable code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with deployment, CI/CD, and server configuration.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
