The SEO Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase website traffic and improve search engine rankings. This role includes conducting keyword research, analyzing website performance, optimizing on-page and off-page SEO elements, and reporting on campaign performance. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of SEO tools, algorithms, and digital marketing best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve rankings.
- Optimize website content, structure, and metadata for search visibility.
- Perform technical SEO audits and recommend improvements.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic, rankings, and performance using analytics tools.
- Build and manage backlink profiles through outreach and partnerships.
- Collaborate with content creators to produce SEO-friendly content.
- Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes and industry trends.
- Develop monthly reports and present insights to management.
- Work with developers to implement technical enhancements.
- Support paid search and content marketing strategies where needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing.
- Proficiency in SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Search Console.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
