Job Title: Shop Manager

Job Summary:
The Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, maximizing sales, managing inventory, and leading a motivated team. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with retail experience and a passion for delivering a high-quality shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of shop operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop staff to achieve sales goals and service standards.
- Ensure the shop is well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing at all times.
- Handle inventory management, stock ordering, and loss prevention.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies for growth.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and health regulations.
- Process financial transactions, manage cash, and reconcile daily sales.
- Report regularly to upper management on performance and operational matters.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a retail or shop management role.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of retail operations, stock control, and customer service practices.
- Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in retail or business is an advantage.
Working Conditions:
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as needed (up to 50 lbs)
- Working hours : 10 hours with weekly off
