Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Spanish Language Teacher to join our language institute in Sharjah on an hourly basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and will be able to engage students of varying age groups and language proficiency levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver interactive and effective Spanish lessons based on the institute’s curriculum.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students’ individual learning needs.
- Provide clear explanations of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare classroom materials and activities to support lesson objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certification in teaching Spanish as a foreign language (e.g., ELE, DELE, or similar).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
- Fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to teach in-person classes in Sharjah on an hourly basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CEFR levels (A1–C1).
- Ability to use digital tools and online platforms for teaching, if needed.
- Knowledge of Arabic is a plus, but not required.
Working Conditions:
- Hourly-based compensation.
- Flexible schedule based on student demand and class timing.
- Classes may be held on weekdays and/or weekends.
