The Address – Speech and Rehabilitation Center in Sharjah is seeking a qualified and compassionate Special Education Teacher with a background in Speech and Language Therapy. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special needs and a strong command of Arabic. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning and communication needs.
- Provide direct support to students facing speech, language, and developmental challenges.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists and caregivers.
- Conduct assessments and track student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
- Create a structured, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Participate in professional development sessions and stay up to date with best practices in special education and speech therapy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Training or experience in Speech and Language Therapy is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with special needs.
- Fluency in Arabic is a must; English is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Job Details:
- Working Hours: 8 hours per day
- Salary Range: AED 2,000 – AED 4,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
