Friendly Early Childhood Center in Dubai is currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified female Russian-speaking Speech Therapist to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. About the Role
As a Speech Therapist at our center, you will play a vital role in supporting children with speech and language challenges - helping them build effective communication skills and confidence. Your work will directly contribute to their social, emotional, and academic growth in a nurturing early years setting.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Fluency in Russian (essential)
- Experience in paediatric speech therapy is strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of child development and diverse learning needs
- Familiarity with SEND legislation and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, empathetic, and passionate about working with young children
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, nurses, parents, and external professionals
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Evaluate children’s communication abilities (articulation, comprehension, fluency, voice)
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Conduct therapy through one-to-one sessions, small groups, or in-class support
- Use play-based and age-appropriate tools such as games, stories, and visual aids
- Educate and support parents, caregivers, and staff with practical techniques
- Collaborate with professionals (e.g., pediatricians, SENCo, educators) for holistic care
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting plans to ensure effective outcomes
- Prepare progress reports and liaise with relevant stakeholders when needed
