Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our mental health clinic in Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to individuals experiencing mental health conditions, working as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role involves direct patient care, medication administration, crisis intervention, and collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with psychiatric and emotional disorders.
- Conduct mental health assessments and monitor patient progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the psychiatrist.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation.
- Assist in developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Support patients and their families through education and psycho-social interventions.
- Handle emergency situations and provide de-escalation or crisis intervention as needed.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and clinic policies.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
Requirements:
Education & Licensing:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing) from an accredited institution.
- Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter (Dubai Health Authority).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS and CPI training are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably with at least 1 year in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
- Experience with adolescent or adult psychiatric patients is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy, patience, and resilience in emotionally challenging environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and electronic documentation.
