We, Fordrough Building Contracting LLC are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Steel Fixer (Steel Fixer Chargehand) to oversee and manage steel fixing operations on construction sites.
Position : Steel Fixer Chargehand
Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a team of steel fixers on construction sites.
- Interpret and implement construction drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all steel reinforcement is installed accurately and securely.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals.
- Monitor work progress and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
- Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
Requirements

- Proven experience as a steel fixer, with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of steel reinforcement techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging environments.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction or steel fixing.
- Minimum 2-3 years GCC Experience as Steel Fixer Chargehand
