Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will learn to do some prep with a qualified chef and ensure all kitchens are kept clean and tidy according to current Health & Hygiene regulations.
Specific duties are:
- Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher to clean all chinaware, silverware and cooking utensils.
- Transporting all cleaned utensils to all corresponding storage areas.
- To make sure that all functions are set up and ready for the next shift.
- Maintain the areas in which the functions are taking place and ensure that all soiled china, glass and silver are returned to the dish washing area as soon as possible for proper cleaning.
- Perform cleaning duties including, but not limited to, mopping and removing of trash from kitchen areas.
- Ensure all dish machines are cleaned at all times to adhere to health standards.
Qualifications
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience an asset
- Ability to operate industrial machinery
- Constant lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, kneeling, and carrying up to 25 kg
- Exposure to kitchen equipment, sounds, fumes, chemicals, working in hot, humid & cold environments
- Passionate and organized about maintaining a clean safe working environment
