Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintain accurate stock levels by performing regular inventory checks and audits
· Receive and inspect deliveries to ensure quality and quantity compliance with purchase orders
· Source and procure materials, supplies, and equipment in a cost-effective and timely manner
· Build and maintain relationships with approved suppliers to ensure timely and reliable deliveries
· Coordinate with various departments (kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to fulfil material requirements
· Keep detailed records of stock movement, purchases, and vendor transactions
· Monitor expiry dates, damage, and wastage, and ensure proper storage of all inventory items
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock status and purchasing activities
· Ensure all purchasing and storekeeping activities comply with hotel policies, hygiene standards, and audit requirements
· Support cost control initiatives by identifying areas for savings and inventory optimization
