This position works out of our UAE location in the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics – Infectious Diseases for 2 months from 1st July 2025 to 31st August 2025

Project Title:
Mapping the Landscape of HIV Diagnostics
Project Overview:
Join us on a mission to improve global HIV care! This project focuses on understanding how our diagnostic tools are currently used in HIV management. You'll help assess the Total Addressable Market (TAM) for these technologies by:
Mapping their current deployment across regions.
Comparing this with the number of people living with HIV (PLHIV) and the general population.
Analyzing how these tools stack up against other molecular diagnostic instruments.
Key Responsibilities
A. Data Mapping & Analysis
Analyze where instruments are currently used.
Compare this data with HIV prevalence and population statistics.
Identify gaps and opportunities to expand diagnostic access.
B. Desktop Research
Research other molecular diagnostic tools used in HIV care.
Gather data from public health sources, academic studies, and market reports.
Help create visual dashboards and maps to present your findings clearly.
Education:
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Data Science, Pharmacy, or a related field.
Background:
Interest or experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or HIV/AIDS is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Comfortable with Excel and/or Power BI for data visualization.
Familiar with database tools and grant search platforms.
Analytical & Communication Skills:
Strong ability to interpret and analyze complex data.
Clear and confident in both written and verbal communication.
