We are a leading supermarket chain in Sharjah, dedicated to providing our customers with a wide range of quality products and excellent service. As part of our growing team, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our finance department.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the supermarket.
- Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of budgets, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Financial Reporting: Generate financial reports and statements for management review.
- VAT Compliance: Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and assist in the preparation of VAT returns.
- Inventory Control: Collaborate with the inventory team to manage and reconcile stock levels.
- Previous Experience: Utilize previous accounting experience, particularly in the supermarket or hypermarket industry, to bring industry-specific insights and best practices.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven accounting experience in a supermarket or hypermarket setting.
- Language Skills: Proficient in both Hindi and English, with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel.
- Visa and Accommodation: Company can provide visa, food, and accommodation for the selected candidate.
- Salary Range: AED 1500 to AED 2500, fixed upon the skills and capabilities of the candidate.
