Overview
Supervisor - Ground Safety will serve as principal advisor to the commanding officer on all ground safety matters. Responsible for advising and aiding the commanding officer in developing and managing a command ground safety program. Required to coordinate all ground safety matters among the command’s staff and will maintain and report appropriate detailed ground safety records, mishap statistics, and establish and implement required corrective safety actions. Additionally responsible to collect, analyze and communicate actionable information to assist Commanders in preserving/protecting military combat resources.
1. The formulation of a safety managment system for all ground activity,
2. The incorporation of safety standards and procedures for all ground functions and activities.
3. The coordination of all safety matters among an organization staff.
4. The formal investigation of ground mishaps and incidents.
5. The identification of hazards and risk in daily ground activity.
6. The establishment of a Safety Council for the purpose of setting goals, managing assets, and reviews safety-related requirements and recommendations.
7. The tracking and reporting of safety deficiencies, inspection, incidents, violations and corrective action.
8. The practices and promotion of safety awareness.
9. The establishment of safety training to promote hazard awareness and the safety integrate in unit activities.

11. Collaborate with customer safety & standarization on regular basis and convey ground safety incident reports once occured.
12. Establish and promote a Just Safety Culture for the program.
13. Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.

Qualification
Diploma, High School BA or BS in any aviation discipline.
Candidates who have attended some type of organized formal training (Military or Civilian) in ground safety will be given preference

Experience
Minimum of 8 years in military experience as a unit Safety Officer or 10 years of direct related civilian experience as an aviation safety professional.
