Overview
The Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor will support and execute the QA strategy as directed by the GAL Aviation Directorate & the customer in accordance with the customer to ensure contractual requirements are being maintained.
1. Responsible for supporting the Aviation Directorate & the customer in the development of the QA strategy, objectives and management system requirements as defined in the GAL maintenance contract & JAC regulations.
2. Assist the GAL Aviation Directorate and the customer in meeting and ensuring compliance to the documented quality management system requirements.
3. Assist in the development of the relevant quality assurance KPI(s) to measure and monitor the aviation maintenance programs performance.
1. 4. Manage the site QA Officers (QAO) in performing scheduled system audits, audit corrective actions and improvement processes.
4. Carry out compliance audits for both GAL and/or the customer as required at both headquarters and/or the maintenance sites, performs root cause analysis as required for corrective actions and support maintenance in continual improvement of the overall quality management system.
5. Performs statistical analysis, data analysis and monthly reporting to the Management Team, and the customer.
6. Oversees and monitors the development and implementation of the continual improvement program in collaboration with the Logistics\Maintenance Management Team and the customer.
7. Recommends changes to the documented quality management system based on experience and data analysis through monthly information. 9. Coordinate and liaison with Regulatory Authority (JAC) pertaining to Quality Assurance Issues.

Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Discipline (Aircraft Maintenance)Bachelor's Degree in aviation related studies or equivalent of -aviation quality assurance.
IRCA / RAB Lead Aerospace Assessor (past or present certification).
License in Aircraft Mechanic (A & P Mechanic License) is desired.
Knowledge of QA Programs & auditing standards is desired

Experience
Minimum of 10 Years Experience working in an Aviation Quality Assurance Supervisory role
TAMMS-A understanding desirable.
Prior military and aviation experience in Quality Assurance standards and civilian regulation.
Must be experienced with multiple computer based software and program usage and be able to drive and enable the development of quality management systems within organizations.
Experience in aircraft auditing techniques and auditing standards preferred.
