The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, altering, repairing, and fitting garments according to customer specifications and design requirements. A strong eye for detail, excellent sewing skills, and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take precise measurements and ensure proper garment fit.
- Alter, repair, or modify garments to meet client requests.
- Sew and construct custom-made clothing based on design patterns.
- Collaborate with designers and clients to ensure design accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform quality control checks on finished garments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a tailor or in garment construction.
- Proficiency in using sewing machines and hand-stitching techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
