We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Cutter and Tailor All-Around to join our team. This individual will be responsible for fabric cutting, garment construction, alterations, and all aspects of tailoring.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately measure and cut fabrics according to patterns or client measurements.
- Execute garment construction, including sewing, stitching, and finishing techniques.
- Perform alterations and repairs on a variety of garments, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with designers and clients to understand their vision and requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technologies related to cutting and tailoring.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sewing machines and tools.
- Uphold high standards of quality control to ensure finished garments meet client expectations.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines and production targets while maintaining the highest level of craftsmanship.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Master Cutter and Tailor with a minimum of 3years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in fabric cutting, garment construction, and alterations.
- Strong knowledge of different fabrics, sewing techniques, and garment construction methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and stitching.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients, designers, and team members effectively.
- Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to handle various tailoring challenges.
- Knowledge of industrial sewing machines and equipment.
