Job Title: 2D Technical Drafter

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated 2D/3D Technical Drafter to assist in creating accurate and detailed technical drawings for our projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with both 2D drafting and 3D modeling, with proficiency in CAD software. This role requires a strong eye for detail, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with our engineering and design teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and revise detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D models based on design specifications and engineering requirements.
- Prepare layouts, assembly drawings, and schematics for manufacturing, construction, or project implementation.
- Review drawings and models to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and other team members to optimize designs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CAD software and design trends to improve productivity and quality.
- Assist with the preparation of technical documentation, including part lists, specifications, and material requirements.
- Ensure all drawings are consistent with company guidelines and project requirements.
- Perform other drafting-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a 2D/3D.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, and Sketchup).
- Strong understanding of drafting standards and technical drawings.
- Ability to work with engineering teams to translate complex concepts into clear, detailed drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and construction methods is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with 2D software (AutoCAD)
- Experience with Sketchup is a plus.
- Experience in Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations.
