Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and creative Textile Designer and Printing Operator to manage the full lifecycle of custom textile orders — from engaging with customers and refining design requirements, to editing and preparing print-ready files, and executing the printing process. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to ensure customer satisfaction through timely follow-ups and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction & Order Intake
- Communicate directly with customers to understand their textile design needs and custom order details.
- Provide design suggestions and technical recommendations when needed.
- Document and confirm all order specifications, including fabric type, dimensions, color preferences, and delivery timelines.
- Design Editing & File Preparation
- Edit and finalize design files based on customer input or internal requirements.
- Ensure all files are optimized and print-ready (correct resolution, repeatability, color profiles, etc.).
- Maintain a library of editable templates and design assets.
- Printing & Production
- Operate textile printing equipment and oversee the printing process.
- Ensure print quality meets company standards before dispatch.
- Coordinate with the production team (if applicable) for fabric cutting, packaging, and delivery.
- Order Management & Follow-Up
- Track orders from start to finish, ensuring timelines are met.
- Follow up with customers and suppliers on revisions, approvals, and delivery satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the order lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in textile design and digital file preparation.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software.
- Knowledge of textile printing processes (preferably sublimation, pigment, or reactive printing).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple custom orders simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using digital textile printers and RIP software.
- Familiarity with fabric types and color calibration for textiles.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
