Role Overview:
Marhaba Auctions, a leading player in the automotive auction industry in the United Arab Emirates, seeking a results-driven UI/UX designer with a minimum 2+ years of experience in the UAE to join our team. The ideal candidate mainly responsible to drive the creation of compelling, user-centered interfaces across web and mobile platforms as well as collaborate closely with marketing, product, and development teams to ensure designs support both brand goals and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
User-focused research & planning: Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, personas, journey maps), competitor analysis, and usability testing. Use insights to guide wireframes and prototypes.
Wireframing & prototyping: Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows for web, iOS, Android, and dashboards. Present to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback.
Visual and interaction design: Translate wireframes into polished UI mockups following design systems, SEO best practices (e.g., mobile responsiveness, load speed, structured content), and platform guidelines (Material, iOS).
Developer handoff & support: Prepare design specs and assets; work closely with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work alongside Marketing, Product, and Engineering to align design strategy with branding, campaign objectives, SEO needs, and app store optimization goals.
Data-informed iteration: Collect and analyze user feedback, analytics, and results from A/B tests; refine designs to improve engagement and conversion.
Design systems & guidelines: Develop and maintain a global design system for consistency across products.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 2+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX designer for web and mobile products.
- UAE residents only.
- Keep up with industry trends in UI/UX, SEO, app store optimization, and accessibility (WCAG).
- Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD (plus bonus for InVision, Balsamiq).
- Experience with user research and usability testing methods.
- Strong understanding of SEO-friendly and app store best practices.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS fundamentals.
- Share best practices and surface new opportunities.
- portfolio demonstrating process and impact.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
