Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Printing Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in printing, with expertise in quality control, prepress processes, and graphic design. As a Printing Operator, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality printed materials while ensuring that all specifications and deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain printing Machine to produce high-quality printed materials.
- Perform quality control checks throughout the printing process to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare files for print by utilizing prepress techniques and ensuring proper color management.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure layouts meet production standards and specifications.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite for design adjustments and modifications as needed.
- Manage the screen printing process, including setup, operation, and cleanup.
- Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the printing process to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Printing Operator or in a similar role within the printing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and prepress techniques.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Familiarity with color management principles and typography best practices.
- Experience in graphic design and layout design is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
