We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Van Salesman to join our FMCG trading and distribution company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, delivering products, and expanding our customer base across assigned routes. This role is crucial in ensuring excellent customer service and maximizing sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Delivery: Sell and deliver FMCG products to retailers, supermarkets, and other customers.
- Customer Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Route Planning: Plan and optimize daily sales routes to maximize efficiency and coverage.
- Stock Management: Ensure proper handling, loading, and unloading of products while maintaining stock levels in the van.
- Payments & Collections: Collect payments from customers and maintain accurate records.
- Market Awareness: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to improve sales strategies.
- Reporting: Provide daily sales reports and update the management on key market insights.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in van sales, preferably in the FMCG sector in Abu Dhabi.
- License: Valid UAE manual driving license (mandatory).
- Skills: Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Language: Basic proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic/Hindi is a plus.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading products.
- Attitude: Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.
