Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented General Trade Salesman to join our team in the beverages industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of beverages to general trade outlets such as groceries, mini-markets, kiosks, and restaurants. This role involves direct customer interaction, route planning, and consistent achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell and distribute the company’s beverage products to general trade channels within the assigned territory.
- Visit retail stores and outlets daily to generate orders and ensure product availability and visibility.
- Maintain excellent relationships with existing clients and acquire new customers to expand market reach.
- Execute promotional activities and product placements as per company guidelines.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
- Monitor and report on competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Provide daily reports on sales performance, stock levels, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with the delivery/logistics team to ensure timely and accurate product deliveries.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or diploma in sales, business, or marketing is an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the FMCG or beverages industry.
- Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of beverage product categories (carbonated drinks, juices, bottled water, etc.) is preferred.
- Familiarity with local trade routes and general trade market dynamics.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel daily across the assigned territory.
Working Conditions:
- Field-based role with extensive travel within the sales territory.
- May require early start times, weekend work, or extended hours during promotional periods.
- Commission and performance-based incentives available in addition to base salary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
