Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor cum Videographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, shooting, and editing high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, advertisements, corporate videos, and promotional campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute video shoots including pre-production, on-site shooting, and post-production.
- Operate professional camera equipment, lighting setups, and audio gear during video shoots.
- Edit raw footage into polished videos using editing software (Adobe After Effect, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Add motion graphics, animations, text overlays, music, sound effects, and transitions.
- Collaborate with the marketing, branding, and product teams to produce engaging content that aligns with the brand identity.
- Maintain and manage media files, project backups, and archives.
- Stay updated with industry trends and recommend innovative techniques or equipment.
- Work on a variety of video types: promotional, explainer, testimonial, event coverage, social reels, and more.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Videographer and Video Editor (portfolio required).
- Proficiency in video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.
- Experience with professional camera equipment (e.g., DSLR, mirrorless, cinema cameras).
- Knowledge of lighting techniques, framing, composition, and color correction.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Knowledge of audio editing and sound design is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media content formats (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, etc.).
- Drone operation certification (if applicable).
