Job Summary:
The Warehouse Executive is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching goods. This role ensures inventory accuracy, timely order fulfillment, proper documentation, and compliance with safety standards to support smooth and efficient supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and participate in the daily warehouse operations including inbound and outbound logistics.
- Ensure accurate receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory through stock entries, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales departments for timely stock availability and order processing.
- Monitor stock levels and notify the manager of low inventory or excess stock.
- Prepare and maintain reports such as delivery schedules, stock summaries, and movement logs.
- Ensure all warehouse activities comply with safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
- Handle warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and ensure equipment maintenance.
- Supervise and support warehouse staff and laborers when required.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials to facilitate easy identification and retrieval.
- Address and resolve discrepancies, damages, or shortages with vendors or transporters.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and ERP systems is preferred.
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures and safety regulations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, Word, Email).
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically active environment.
- High school diploma required; additional logistics/supply chain certification is a plus.
