About the Job
- The team leader is responsible for all the day-to-day planning, operations, communication and problem-solving within the team
- Direct warehouse employees in the proper storage, inventory management, and handling in and out of goods within specified productivity and quality
- Supporting any administration requirements for smooth operations such as: documentation, billing and reporting
- Ensuring that all material handling equipment (MHE) and other warehouse tools and equipment are being maintained and managed appropriately work instructions are being followed by the team the warehouse operation is running efficiently and with zero error approach, while providing expected customer service levels
- Continuous Improvement Process focus (CIP)
- Health and Safety standards are being communicated and followed
- Warehouse reporting and information requirements are being met on a daily base and communicated properly to internal / external stakeholders
- Recommending measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and warehouse staff and equipment performance
- Plan and execute stock counts and internal audits on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure Inventory accuracy and
- Be the contact person for customer enquiries, complains etc.
- In additional to your specific job responsibilities, you may be called upon to carry out specific assignments by your supervisor / manager.
- Be a HSE committee member.
- The HSE representative shall be competent to address the Health & Safety Requirements of the organization and shall at all-time ensure that HS&E Requirements of the Authority are met.
- Monitor, investigate and report on HSE matters
- Attend HSE committee meetings.
- Be present when the inspector interviews the employee about an accident or dangerous occurrence at a place of work
- HSE information, training, instruction and supervision to be provided to employees
- Report all accidents, near miss, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions
- Making sure that HSE will be implemented correctly in the work place
- Seek reasonably practicable solutions to safety and health issues which arise
- Be present when HSE audits are done.

Secondary: Diploma / Bachelor’s degree.
Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehousing.
Knowledge on the safety and legal documentation processes for handling warehousing activities.
Professional: Competent knowledge on utilizing the warehouse management system, email system and proved Microsoft office skills.
Others: Communicate professionally in English at a competent level (verbal and written)
