We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading juice manufacturer, who is looking for an experienced Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to support their on-site water treatment processes. This is an excellent opportunity to relocate to Ireland and play a key role in maintaining environmental standards in a modern food and beverage manufacturing facility.
As a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining treatment systems that ensure wastewater is managed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems and related equipment.
- Conduct routine testing and sampling to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on pumps, valves, filters, and control systems.
- Record and report operational data and performance metrics.
- Identify and troubleshoot process or equipment issues to prevent downtime.
- Support sustainability and water conservation initiatives within the plant.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in operating a wastewater treatment plant or similar industrial water systems.
- Strong understanding of treatment processes, environmental standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Relevant technical qualification or certification in wastewater or water treatment (desirable).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Willingness to relocate to Ireland.
